About Nicole
I'm a a strategic communicator, speaker, and writer working at the intersection of health systems, equity, and identity. I've spent over 15 years helping public institutions — including Nova Scotia Health and government partners — tell better stories, shape better policy, and make better decisions.
A former freelance writer with a background in media training, partner engagement, and internal transformation, I bring sharp thinking and a soft heart to the toughest conversations — from anti-Black racism in healthcare to neurodivergent leadership in public systems.
I believe:
-
Clarity builds trust.
-
Representation is not the same as equity.
-
Policy is personal — and people deserve to understand it.
-
We can’t change systems without changing how we speak about them.
I’m a single mom of two amazing kids, a lifelong writer, and someone who believes leadership doesn’t have to be cold to be credible.
